Zbranek
Annie Emilie (Zaskoda) Zbranek, 97, of Industry, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010 at Colonial Belle Nursing
Home in Belleville.
Annie was born in Industry, on Jan. 28, 1913, the daughter of the late Adolph and Emilie Frances (Zanek) Zaskoda.
Annie was a member of the Altar Society, Fireman’s Auxiliary, SPJST, Woodmen of the World, West End Historical
Society, and Sons of Hermann. She worked as a funeral director for 60 years at Zaskoda Chapel in Industry.
She is survived by two sons Jim Zbranek and wife Marene of Houston and Julius Zbranek and wife Yoshi of Lacy,
Washington, daughter Beatrice Hornak and husband Laddie of Houston, five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation was Monday, Nov. 8, 2010 from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Zaskoda Chapel in Industry.
A rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral Services were held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Industry, Texas, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday,
Nov. 9, 2010. Burial followed at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Cemetery in Industry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, P. O. Box
808, Bellville, Texas.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home, 208 W. Pearl, La Grange, Texas.
