Dolores Frank Hildebrandt, 102, passed away Nov. 28, 2011, at the Azalea House Assisted Living where she lived
since her husbandís death in 1998.
Mrs. Hildebrant was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Sealy where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and
served for two years as secretary and also two years as treasurer. She was an active member until moving to Henderson in 1998. She stayed in
contact with her church until her death. She was a former member of the Home Demonstration in Austin County and previously served as presiding Judge of
Election in Precinct #17 in Austin County.
Dolores was born Nov. 14, 1909, in Bellville to Albert and Minnie Sauter Frank. She grew up in Bellville
where she graduated from Bellville High School in 1928 and married William R. Hildebrandt in December of that year.
William preceded Dolores in death on Aug. 15, 1998, after 70 years of marriage. She was also preceded in
death by her parents and brother Reese Frank and wife Clover Frank and brother Morris Frank and wife Leona Frank and son-in-law Henry Herzog.
She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Betty Herzog of Houston and Peggy and D.A. Brian of
Henderson, grandchildren George and Nancy Herzog Hastings and Karen Herzog Koctar all of Houston, and great-grandchildren Nathan and Hunter Hastings of
Houston and Kimberly Koctar of The Woodlands. She leaves numerous relatives and friends in Sealy and Bellville area and also in Henderson where she has lived
for 13 years.
Her family wishes to thank the people of Azalea House Assisted Living, Assist Care and Hearts Way Hospice of
Northeast Texas for their thoughtful and devoted care they gave their mother.
Knesek Funeral Home of Bellville is in charge of arrangements. Graveside services will be held at Oak
Knoll Cemetery in Bellville, Texas on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial gifts to the charity of their choice.
