Funeral Services for Herbert Kaase, 95, were held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 2 p.m. from Knesek Bros.
Funeral Chapel in Bellville with Rev. Marcia Kifer officiating. Interment in Oak Knoll Cemetery.

Herbert Emil Kaase was born to parents Charlie and Rosie (Boehme) Kaase in Industry. He was raised in
Industry and attended the Nelsonville Public School.
He served his country during World War II from 1942 to 1945 with the 80th Division, 313 Field Artillery
Battalion, Battery A in North Africa, Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe . He was awarded the American Theater Campaign
Ribbon, E AME Campaign Ribbon with 5 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge, Victory Ribbon and 3 Overseas Service Bars.
After the war, Herbert worked in Houston with the Seales Construction Company for 26 years and moved to New
Ulm working with the Ranch King Trailers in Bellville as a welder for 13 years.
On Jan. 29, 1955, he married the former Miss Delores Blazek in Brookshire.
He loved ranching, gardening and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. Kaase died June 6, 2011 in LaGrange.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna Wessels and husband Marvin of Round Top, daughter-in-law, Barbara
Schrader of New Ulm, grandchildren, Kevin Dernehl and wife Lori, Kelly Radke and husband Jason, Trina Siptak and husband Ronnie, and Ridge Wessels and wife
Katie, Michelle Marburger and husband Marvin, great grandchildren, Tye, Colter, and Kerstin Siptak, Jade and Jagger Wessels, Hunter and Lindsay Dernehl,
Ericka and Matthew Brent, Amberly Radke, Cody Marburger and Dillon Marburger and two great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Rosie Kaase, wife Delores Kaase, infant girl Kaase, son
Travis Dernehl and brothers, Alvin, Charlie, and Robert Kaase.
