Clara was born July 20, 1911 in Bonita, Texas to George and Ollie Maud Anglin Yarbrough. She passed away on Dec. 31, 2011.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Alvin O. Moro; son Rueben Crawford Brooks; daughter Mary Dell and husband Leonard McClure; grandson Wayne McClure and step son Alvin Moro Jr.

She is survived by daughter Elizabeth Milson; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Eastern Star, Bellville Chapter #602 for many years.

She loved to quilt and continued doing so up to 97 years old. She has given quilts to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid reader and loved to travel.

Memorial service for Clara Mae Moro was held Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville.
