Jack Oliver Mumma, 92, of Bleiblerville, died June 15, 2011, at his residence.
The family will receive visitors Sunday, June 19 from 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
The funeral service will be held Monday, June 20 at 11 a.m. at Industry United Methodist Church. The
graveside service will be at the church cemetery, under the auspices of Bellville Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Mumma was born October 24, 1918 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, to Joseph Oliver and Althea
On Oct. 28, 1939, he was married to Margaret Erisman in Vandalia, Ohio. Mr. Mumma was a member of
Industry United Methodist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a founding member of Houston Ostomy Club and was a retired vice president of Offenhauser Co.
Survivors include his wife Margaret Mumma of Bleiblerville; daughters, Judy Warner and husband John
of Pampa, Jackie Leach and husband Ernie of Bleiblerville and Janet Lewis and husband Charles of Houston; grandchildren, Mike Warner of Amarillo, Sandy Carr
and husband Ron of Miami, Texas, Melanie Warner of Fresno, Calif., Patti Warner of Dallas, Marty Leach and wife Heather of Bellville, Randy Leach and wife
Stephanie of Bleiblerville, Brett Lewis and wife Margie of Brownsville and Rian Lewis of Los Angeles; great-grandchildren, Sage, Phebe and Simone Warner,
Jonathan, Aaron and Shelbie Carr, Kyla, Cole and Hudson Kennedy, Taylor and Joshua Leach, Cora Leach and Kaitlyn and Charles Lewis; and sister, Betty Swartz
of Vandalia, Ohio.
Mr. Mumma was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Virginia Fisher; an infant daughter,
Jeri; and great-grandson, Carson Kennedy.
