Funeral Services for Mattie Noviskie, 86, of Cat Spring, 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2011, Knesek Bros.
Funeral Chapel in Bellville with Mr. Len Mikeska officiating.
Interment in the National Cemetery in Nelsonville.
Pallbearers are George Breehl, Casey Cook, Kyle Noviskie, Butch Dean, Gary Noviskie and Bruce Noviskie.
Honorary pallbearers are Larry Ehlig, Alan Crosby and Leonard Mikeska.
Mattie Clara Shupak was born on Dec. 26, 1924 in Nelsonville to parents Frank and Mary Kamas Shupak. She was
raised in the Nelsonville and Bleiblerville area and attended Bellville Public School.
Mattie married Louis F. Noviskie on Jan. 31, 1942 in Houston and was a homemaker and was a member of Houston
Brethren Church.
She passed away on March 26, 2011 in Pasadena, Texas.
Survivors include her daughters, Patty Cook of Deer Park, Carol Noviskie of Houston, daughter-in-law, Jewel
Hayden of Houston, son, Randy Noviskie and wife Shirley of Fayetteville, grandchildren, Michelle Breehl and husband George, Kelley Cook, Kelly Powell and
husband Corey, Casey Cook and friend Courtney Moran, Kyle Noviskie and Clayton Noviskie, great grandchildren, Madison and Ryker Breehl, Paige and Kelsey
Harris, Avery and Cannon Powell and Shane Noviskie.
Mrs. Noviskie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Shupak, husband, Louis F. Noviskie, son,
Terry Lynn Noviskie, son-in-law, C.L. Cook, granddaughter, Brandy Martinez, sister, Sadie Stepan, Gladys Shupak, Lillie Zettel and Esther Mikeska.
