Buenaventura C. Ollero, Jr. “B.C.”, 63, of Alvin, Texas passed away on Dec. 23, 2011, in Webster, Texas.
He was born on June 22, 1948, in Texas City, Texas to Bertha Lea (Felice) and Buenaventura C. Ollero, Sr. He
graduated from Texas City High School in 1966, and graduated from Sam Houston State University with his Bachelors of Business Administration in 1972.
He began teaching insurance classes under the George Leonard Schools and worked for Kaplan until he opened his
own business, BCO Training. He trained people to pass the exam to obtain their agent’s licensing for property & casualty, and life
& health insurances.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Davis L. Llenos; sister, Carolyn (Ollero) Villarreal; niece,
Laura Wendt; and mother-in-law, Dolores (Ottmer) Wendt.
He is survived by his loving wife, Connie (Wendt) Ollero of Alvin, Texas; daughters, Kay Ollero of Plano,
Texas and Kristina Brown and husband Brad of Fort Collins, Colorado; and granddaughter, Madeline Brown of Fort Collins, Colorado. Family would also like
to recognize life-long friends Murl and Barbara Shelton of Texas City, Texas.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, from 6-8 p.m.. at the
Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home
Chapel with The Rev. Tammy Sharp officiating.
