Eloise O. Sebesta was born April 30, 1929, in Chappell Hill, Texas, the daughter of Benjamine and Myra Sturdivant Wiesner.  She grew up and attended school in the area and graduated from Bellville High School.

On Dec. 31, 1947, she married Benjamin “Ben” Sebesta in the Nelsonville Brethren Church.  Eloise and Ben made their home in Bellville where they were members of the St. John Lutheren Church.

Eloise devoted her life to being a good wife and mother, raising her two daughters Yvonne and Marsha.  She and her husband enjoyed flower gardening and growing vegetables. After Ben’s retirement, together they enjoyed traveling with friends and touring many of the western states.

Eloise passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011, in Bellville at the age of 82.

She is survived by her  daughter Yvonne Schuster and her husband, Karl, of Austin;  brother Falcolm Wiesner and his wife, Phyllis, of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and many dear friends.

Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, her son, David Royce Sebesta, daughter, Marsha Sebesta Witt, sisters, Bessie Thornton and Pauline Stevens, and her brother, Benjamine “Buddy” Wiesner.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011, at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Henske and Pastor Jennie Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery in Nelsonville.
