Frank “Jay” Witzkoske passed away peacefully on April 19, 2011.
He was born on Jan. 21, 1913 in Stoneham, Texas. He lived a long, fruitful and memorable life, 61 years in Houston
and 34 years in Bellville.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Constance Scholwinski Witzkoske of 35 years and second wife, Annie
Mueller Witzkoske of 21 years; parents John and Josephine Noskrent Witzkoske. Of 11 siblings, one sister, Florine Gordon, survives him. He is also survived by a
son and daughter and their spouses: Clarence Witzkoske (Trudy), Patricia Elliott (Kenneth), and five grandsons: Mark (Nora) and Paul Witzkoske and John (Sara),
James and Justin Elliott; great grandchildren Jennifer and Cody Witzkoske and Katlyn and Allyson Elliott, one great great grand daughter, Lillyann Graham and
numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at All Faiths Funeral Home.
Recitation of the Rosary immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 1:30 p.m., Monday April
25, 2011 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Rose Lane, Houston, TX 77037 where Rev. Albert Zanatta, Pastor, served as celebrant. The Rite of
Committal followed at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
