Mary Louise Ables passed away on March 21, 2012 in Bellville.
She was born April 4, 1922, to Jesse and Mary Elizabeth Nunnellee in Beeville, Texas.
She was a member of West End Baptist Church in Industry. She worked for Spring Branch School District
and West Side Reporter in Houston. She was a life member of Texas State and National P.T.A.
She was married to Elmer “Red” V. Ables on April 6, 1940 in Austin.
She is survived by two children, Sandra Lynn (David) Turnage and Robert Vernon (Deborah) Ables of Bellville;
five grandchildren Mike and Chris Ables of Bellville, Kenneth Turnage of Austin and Danny Turnage of Houston Sandra Dee (Scott) McFadyen of The Woodlands; 12
great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Mary Elizabeth Nunnellee, husband Elmer “Red” V. Albes,
sisters Frances Josephine Odom and Myrtle Irene Tinsley.
Funeral services were Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 3 p.m. at West End Baptist Church in Industry with Rev.
Dennis Keen officiating. Interment was in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Industry. Family received friends on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Knesek
