Funeral services for Mrs. Nola Braesicke, 82, of Houston, were held from the Chapel of the Pete E.
Etlinger Funeral Home in Bellville at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6 with Rev. Walter Probst, Jr.
officiating. Burial was in the Cat Spring Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Eugene Rudloff, Earl D. Brown, Ron Theusman, Henry Hillboldt, Harry Pless and Leroy Hillboldt.
Mrs. Braesicke died in Houston at 10:30 p.m. on Friday, January 1, 1982 a homicide victim in her home.
Born in Cat Spring on November 24, 1899 she was the daughter of John and Ida Kadernoschka. She was
reared in the Cat Spring community and attended the Clarksville and Millheim Public Schools. She was a
member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Houston.
The former Miss Nola Kadernoschka was married to Hugo C. Braesicke on December 17, 1923 in ceremonies
performed in Bellville. Mr. Braesicke died in May of 1949.
Survivors include a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and two brothers.
