Funeral services for Harold C. Buchtien of Sealy were held from the chapel of the Pete E. Etlinger
Funeral Home in Sealy at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, with Rev. Carlton Dyer officiating.
Burial was in the Sealy Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Leroy Buchtien, Oscar Lehman, Douglas Buchtien, Ronald Buchtien, Michael
Buchtien and Vernon Ewald.
Mr. Buchtien passed away in the Sealy Medical Center at 10:08 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 1973.
He had been ill for the past three days.
Born in Sealy on April 23, 1918, he was the son of and Mrs. Herman Buchtien. He was
reared in Sealy and attended the Millheim and Peters Public Schools.
A member of the Methodist Faith, Mr. Buchtien was engaged in the ranching profession.
Survivors include: sister, Mrs. Eugene Rudloff of Bellville: brothers, Leslie Buchtien
of Sealy and Norman Buchtien of Houston: and a number of nieces and nephews.
