Kathryn Black MorrowKathryn is a professional historical and genealogical researcher with 30 years experience in research and historical documentation.  In the capacity of a professional genealogist she does research for others and gives historical programs.  Her interest is not only in genealogy but all aspects of history.

She began her career at the Department of Archives and History in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Upon moving to Oklahoma she was co-founder and archivist for the Railroad Depot Museum in the town of Harrah.  She served as President for the Harrah Heritage and Historical Society in Harrah, Oklahoma, during her presidency she established procedures for the collection and storage of artifacts and photos for display in the museum and began a permanent photograph collection at the University of Oklahoma, before leaving Harrah she helped assemble material for a book on the area.

From 1990 until 1997 she served on the Landmark Designation Commission for the City of Longmont, Colorado, assisting in the preservation and designation of historic buildings, and was elected chairperson in 1995 serving two terms while volunteering as a grant reader for the Colorado State Historical Society at the same time.

Kathryn and her husband Michael have four children and have served as foster parents for an additional fifteen children in Oklahoma and Colorado.

Among her many achievements she was chosen as a Delegate from the State of Oklahoma to the World Conference on Records, held in Salt Lake City, Utah. And delegate from Oklahoma County to the White House Conference on Families.

Currently she is enrolled in the Master’s program at University of Houston Clear Lake. She still finds time to volunteer as a genealogical consultant to various groups and on-line genealogical sites, and work with various attorneys' offices on inheritance cases.
