Big Bend Genealogical Society
Born in 1886 in Callahan County, Texas, came to Alpine in 1910. He married Miss Lillie Young in 1911. Mr. Edwards engaged in various business enterprises in Alpine and establsihed the first swimming pool and the first movie theatre in Alpine. He also owned the Edwards Motor Company which sold Chalmer, Hupmobile, and other automobiles. Mr. Edwards died in 1960 and his 1970.
