GLENWOOD CEMETERY PAUPERS GRAVES
 

The original plat for Glenwood Cemetery was recorded on 24 April 1901 by the Beeville Cemetery

Association in Volume E-2, page 518, Deed Records of Bee County, Texas.  On 24 October 1903, the

"two outside tiers of blocks" were sold to Bee County for $100 as a "Potter's Field for burial of Paupers."

 

This was recorded on 29 October 1903 in Volume G-2, page 1, Deed Records of Bee County, Texas.

This section is in the southeast corner of the cemetery.
               
In the fall of 1993, this area was mowed sufficiently to enable us to read the existing markers.
