Harold Balch, 61, of Robinson died Sunday at a local hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wed. Oct. 17, 2001 at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Oakcrest Funeral home.

Harold was born to John Rayburn and Ives Ione McMinn Balch in Turnersville. He was a security guard captain and lifelong resident of Waco. Harold was a member of Silver Maple Church.

He is survived by his companion, Wanda Hodgesof Robinson; mother of his children, Jeannie Pack of Crawford; daughters Connie Palmer and husband Jeff of Waco, Jan Palmer and husband Paul of China Spring; brothers, Dayle Balch of Waco, Bill Balch of Hewitt and Jackie Balch of China Spring; sisters, Robbie Bollinger of Dallas and Diane Seawright of Royce City; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren. He is also survived by close friends, Rev. George Meeks, Jay Williams and Dr. Thomas Lundeen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American heart Association or Providence Health Center.
