A Requiem Mass will be held for Anton Balusek, 64, of 5507 Ave. Q., at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Frydek, Texas. Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. W. Nesvadba and Rev. L. Klimicek will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

A Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. in the Memorial Room of Broadway Funeral Home by the Rev. Raymond Jacob of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Mr. Balusek, a resident of Galveston for the past 26 years, died Wednesday evening at St. Mary's Infirmary following a brief illness.

He was born March 25, 1900 in Dubon, Austria and was a former employee of Texas Gulf Sulphur and the Municipal Golf Course. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Annie Alvarado; four sons, Willia Balusek, August Balusek, Joe Balusek and David Balusek, all of Galveston; a sister, Annie Ondruch of Frydek, and a brother, Joe Balusek of Freeport.
