Funeral services for Viola K (Kneip) Banik, 89, of The Woodlands were held Dec 14 at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev Michael Rinehart officiating. Burial followed at Florida Chapel Cemetery in Round Top.

She died Dec 11 in The Woodlands. She was born Feb 13, 1910 in Round Top, the daughter of Robert Henry and Frieda (Etzel) Kneip. She married Willie J Banik.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Henry Kneip; grandson, Marland Maisel.

Survivors include her daughter, Willis Maisel & husband Marvin; sister, Vivian Barker; grandchildren, Harland Maisel & wife Laura and Marlane Maisel; great-grandchildren, Hayleigh, Mattison and Preston Maisel; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Annie Banik and Nora Banik; nieces and nephews.

Funeral was handled by Metcalf Funeral Directors of Conroe.
