Hallettsville - Dolphie Baresh, 81, of Hallettsville, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003.

She was born Aug. 12, 1921, in Lavaca County, to the late John and Tonie Matula Bujnoch. She was an artist of oil paintings and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors: daughters, Jo Ann Caloss of Bedford and Doris Duff of Spring; son, Louis Baresh Jr. of Dallas; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, Louis Baresh; parents; and brother, Alphonse Bujnoch.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. today at Kubena Funeral Home chapel.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home chapel and 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the church, the Rev. John Peters officiating.

Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Kubena Funeral Home, Hallettsville, 361-798-3271.
