Gonzales -- Frank Edward Barnick, 92, of Gonzales, died Saturday, March 16, 2002.

He was born Oct. 8, 1909, in Gonzales County to the late Michael Ludwig and Emely Kuntschik Barnick. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

Survivors: son, Jimmie L. Barnick of Gonzales; sisters, Elsie Hill of Cuero and Ruth Herrmann of Beeville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: wife, Wilhelmena Huff Barnick; parents; three sisters; and three brothers.

Family visitation will be 7-8 p.m. tonight at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel.

Burial will be at Denton Creek Cemetery. Seydler-Hill Funeral Home, Gonzales, 830-672-3232.
