FUNERAL SERVICES HELD THURSDAY FOR ALBERT L. BAROS
 

Albert Louis Baros of Shiner passed away suddenly at his home Tues Dec 8 1964 at 10:20 AM at the age of 63 years, 1 month, and 21 days.

The remains reposed in state at the Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner until 8:30 AM Thurs Dec 10 where services were begun and continued at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at 9:00 AM with Requiem Mass. The Rev. Fathers John J. Hanacek and Alphonse Padalecki officiated at the impressive last rites.

Graveside rites and burial took place in the Shiner Catholic Cemetery. Serving as casket attendants were Dennis Mraz, Frankie Miculka, Jimmie Joe Roznovsky, all of Shiner, George Kurtz, Clyde Baros and Robert Baros all of Yoakum.

Rosary was recited at the Buffington Chapel Wednesday night at 7:30 PM.

Mr. Baros was born in the Dreyer Community, Gonzales County, Oct 17 1901, the son of Frank and Christine Martinak Baros. He married Della Roznovsky on Nov 13 1928 in the Shiner Catholic Church. They resided near Shiner and farmed for their livelihood until recently when they moved to town. At the present time they were engaged in the upholstery business.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Albert L. (Della) Baros of Shiner; a foster daughter, Mrs. Leroy ( Margie) Hagendorf of San Antonio; two grandchildren, Carolyn and David Hagendorf of San Antonio; three brothers, Charlie Baros of Gonzales, Rudy Baros of San Antonio, and Martin Baros of Shiner and three sisters, Mrs. Louis (Christine) Champion of Houston, Mrs. Cecil (Justine) Harvey of Port Isabel and Mrs. Henry (Sally) Brunner of Corpus Christi.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank Baros Jr. of Shiner who died on September 12, 1951; Willie J. Baros of Yoakum who died on August 15, 1958; John Alfons Baros of Moulton who died on October 14, 1961 and Jimmy Baros who died at the age of 14.

A devoted husband and father, a kind and generous neighbor, he will always live in the hearts and memory of his loved ones and many friends.
