RITES READ MONDAY FOR BILL BAROS, 68


Funeral services were held in Yoakum Monday morning, August 18, 1958, at 8:00 AM for William J. "Bill" Baros, 68, of 205 Plaza Street, Yoakum, Texas, the Rev. Father Edward J. Jansky officiating at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.

A resident of Yoakum for 38 years, Mr. Baros died at his home on August 15, 1958, at 9:10 PM. He was born June 11, 1890 in Fayette County.

Mr. Baros was well known in the Shiner area, having been a cotton buyer here for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Jannie Kasparek Baros of Yoakum; one son, Robert Baros of Yoakum; two daughters, Miss Rafaela Baros and Mrs. Ed (Olga) Malinak, both of Yoakum; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; five brothers, John Baros of Moulton; Albert Baros and Martin Baros of Shiner; Charles Baros of Port Lavaca; and Rudy Baros of San Antonio; three sisters, Mrs. H. R. Brunner of Corpus Christi; Mrs. Cecil Harvey of Port Isabel; and Mrs. Christine Champion of Houston.

He was preceded in death by parents, Frank Sr. and Christina Martinak Baros; a son, Otto Baros, who was a twin to Olga; and a brother, Frank Baros, Jr.
