Albina M. Baros of Yoakum passed away Sat Jan 2 1999 at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 22 days.

A rosary was recited Tues Jan 5 at 12:30 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Funeral services followed at 1 PM at the church with Rev. Gary Janak officiating.

Burial was at the Shiner Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home, Yoakum.

The pallbearers were Bob Harry, Robert Lee Spann, Rudolph Lofman, Kenneth Spann, Leonard Spann, and Glen Spann.

Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Spann, Adolph Spann, and Dean Wenske.

She was born on Feb 10 1907 in Fayetteville to the late Anton and Agnes Brenner Spann. She married Rudy J. Baros in 1926. She was a dry cleaner with Baros Dry Cleaners. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and the Yoakum Hospital Auxiliary.

She is survived by one son, Robert Lee Baros of San Marcos and one sister, Sophie Baros of Shiner.

Mrs. Baros was preceded in death by her husband on March 15, 1970; her mother on November 6, 1947; her father on July 27, 1962; one sister, Lillian Baros on January 15, 1997; and five brothers, Anton Spann, Jr. who died at the age of three about 1903; Matt Spann who died on April 10, 1984; Joe A."Rusty" Spann who died on February 20, 1987; James A. Spann who died on August 21, 1989 and Frank J. Spann who died on May 1, 1993.
