Barbara Gregg Barta born July 24, 1927 died February 27, 2003.

Preceded in death by husbands, Leroy Gregg, Sr., and William Barta; and son Johnny Gregg.

Survived by children, Leroy Gregg, Jr.; and Steve and wife Karen Gregg; grandchildren, Glenda and husband Charlie Brown; Jamie Gregg; Kellie and husband Judd Cashatt; Karee Gregg; Jason Gregg and Stuart Gregg; great grandchildren, Shelby and Cody Brown; and Cade Cashatt; 2 brothers, Camille and wife Mozelle Broussard and Herbert Broussard; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Special thanks to her dear friends-caregivers, and the staff of Houston Hospice who provided loving care and support, Lulene Gregg; Betty Nevius; Mavis Culver; Catherine Kirkpatrick and Laura Marek; Maria McCrindle, R.N.; Tracey Tolliver Carr, C.N.A.; and Shenna Tom, C.N.A.

Visitation 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, in the Mausoleum Chapel at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Graveside services 3:00 pm, Memorial Oaks Cemetery, with Senior Pastor Marlyn Kurtz of Houston Central Church Seventh Day Adventist, officiating.
