Ladik Barta, 85, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001.

He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and retired from the US Post Office.

He is survived by his loving wife Gladys; son, Richard Barta and wife Brenda; grandson, Jonathan Barta and wife Donna; great-grandson, Jonathan Barta, Jr.; 3 brothers and 5 sisters.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday at Waltrip Funeral Directors.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, July 19, 2001 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1515 Hillendahl, with Dr. William Dasch officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
