Funeral services for Alyne R (Giesber) Barton, 86, of La Grange were held March 3 at Sergeant Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange with Rev Ronald R Weber officiating. Burial followed at La Grange City Cemetery.

She died March 1 in La Grange She was born Feb 25, 1914 in Moulton, Tx, the daughter of Henry and Rosa Veronica (Richter) Giesber.

She was a secretary and affiliated with St Paul Lutheran Church in La Grange.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice McKellar; 3 brothers, Charlie, George and Henry Giesber.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Barton of Thrall; a sister-in-law, Vera Giesber of La Grange; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral handled by Sergeant Memorial Funeral Home of La Grange.
