Port Lavaca Wave Pg 7-B 15 Jul 1971 Thurs Funeral rites were held for Mrs. Dora M. Eager, 80, at 5 pm, Saturday, July 10, from the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Young Tucker of the Alamo Heights Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the Memorial Gardens in Victoria under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home. Mrs. Eager died at 2:15 a.m. Friday, July 9, in the Champ Traylor Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Eager was born May 1, 1891 in Rogers. She was married to Thomas P. Eager Aug 13, 1908. Mrs. Eager moved to Port Lavaca in November, 1933. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons and a daughter. Mrs. Eager is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R. J. Patrick and Mrs. J. T. Rogers, both of Port Lavaca; two sons, Thomas of Edna and Pat of Houston, 21 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandsons. They included James L., Morris P., and James
