Thomas P. Eager Funeral Thursday At First Baptist

Funeral services for Thomas P. Eager, 82, will be held at 10 a. m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Bailey officiating.

He died Tuesday in the Champ Traylor Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Eager was born in Frost, Texas on September 13, 1884, and was a retired farmer.

He had lived in Port Lavacaa for most of his life, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Memory Gardens in Victoria under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home of Port Lavaca.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dora Eager of Port Lavaca; three daughters, Mrs. Loraine Lovorn of Killeen, Mrs. Hazel Patrick and Mrsl Elora Rogers of Port Lavaca; two sons, Pat of Houston, and Thomas of Inez; one sister, Mrs. Lottie Henry of Fort Worthy; 22 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Calvin Lovorn, Frankie Patrick, Bobbie Patrick, John Patrick, Pat Eager, James Eager, and James Rogers.
