He retired in 1971 as tax assessor-collector for the Robstown Independent School District. He had been with the tax department 40yrs. He is survived by his wife,Edith,two daughters,Dolores Hinze of Robstown, and Mary Louise Veselka of Taft,two sons,Clinton Eggert of Corpus Christi, and Edgar H.
