Oscar C. Eggert Services Held

Seguin – Oscar C. Eggert, 77, of 1072 Bismark Street, Seguin, died Saturday, August 6, 1983, in Seguin after a long illness.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Aug. 10, 1983 at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Olson officiating. Interment was in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park Cemetery located between Seguin and New Braunfels.

Mr. Eggert was born June 16, 1906 at Witting, Lavaca County, Texas, son of Richard and Louise (Windel) Eggert, and was a life member of the American Legion.

Survivors include a brother, Edgar H. Eggert, Sr., Robstown; a sister, Mrs. Lydia Lamprecht, Victoria; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, May 31, 1963; his father, and a brother, Theodore Eggert.
