Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Joe Ehler where held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hallettsville, with the Rev. Celestino Say officiating.

Burial was in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers were William, Johnnie and Joe Muhlstein, James Kocian Jr., William Hlavac and Mark Abbruscato.

She died at 6:25 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 1981 in the Golden Age Nursing Home at Houston at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 9 days.

Mrs. Ehler, nee Agnes Grace Muhlstein, was born Jan. 6, 1907 in Lavaca County, daughter of Albert and Antonia (Smagstrla) Muhlstein. She was married to Henry Joe Ehler on Sept. 7, 1927 in Hallettsville. He preceded her in death Aug. 6, 1972.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville and the Christian Mothers Society.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James J. (Virginia) Kocian of Houston; and two sisters, Hermine Marek of Hallettsville and Annie Svetlik of Beeville.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lado Muhlstein Sr., Sept. 16, 1980 and Albert Muhlstein.
