Last rites for Sabina M. Elsik, 91, of the Brushy Community were conducted Dec. 30 in the Fayetteville Brethren Church with the Rev. Milton Maly officiating. Burial was in the Fayetteville Brethren Church Cemetery at Ross Prairie.

Mrs. Elsik died Dec. 27 in Weimar.

Born in Bernardo Oct. 27, 1906, Mrs. Elsik was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosie (Machalek) Glueck. She was united in marriage with Henry Elsik Feb 24, 1926. She was a member of the Fayetteville Brethren Church.

Sruviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Waldine and Eugene F. Oncken of Houston; one son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Isabel Elsik of Seguin; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Elo Elsik of Edinburg and Mrs. Edwin Glueck of Glidden; one brother-in-law, Albert Skalitsky of Fayetteville; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and one sister.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Koenig-Peel and Strickland Funeral Home.
