Victoria Advocate Online 5 Oct 2004 Mary "Dolly" Elizabeth Gainer Erdelt, 76, of Victoria and formerly of Edna, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004. She was born Feb. 19, 1928, in Edna, to the late Nathanial Wiseman and Nan Elena Keys Gainer. She was a florist and LVN. She was the retired owner and operator of Gainers Floral of Edna, a lifetime member of Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and a Methodist. Survivors: sons, Andrew Erdelt Jr. of Palacios, James Erdelt of San Antonio, David Erdelt of Victoria, and Paul Erdelt of Inez; sister, Ressie Mae Hutchison of Burkburnett; and 10 grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Andrew Erdelt; and one grandson. Visitation will be 1-6 p.m. today at Slavik Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, Mr. Francis Blanchard officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens of Edna. Slavik Funeral Home, Edna, 361-782-2152.
