Jerry Ermis 86, of Corpus Christi passed away Friday, December 22,
2000, in a local hospital.
Jerry was a farmer, independent distributor and during his retirement a rancher and inventor and held a U.S. Patent. He was a charter member of Moravian Hall and a member of KJZT. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille Ermis in 1993. He is survived by three daughters, Lillian (Mike)Flanagan, Jerry Lou (Jim) Pocza, and Dianne Gill all of Corpus Christi; three sons, Kenneth Frank Ermis of Corpus Christi, Glenn (Darlene) Ermis of Palm Desert, California, and Scotty Ermis of Corpus Christi; four sisters, Della Glomb of Houston, Texas, Elsie Decker of Cardiff By the Sea, California, Evelyn Foster of Houston, Texas, Grace Spicak of Victoria, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 24, 2000 at the Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December
26, 2000 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with Rev. Robert
