Funeral services for Annie Marie (Wick) Ermis, 57, of West Point were held Jan 27 at Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Plum with the Rev Msgr Stanley Petru officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She died Jan 24 in Austin. She was born Nov 21, 1942 in High Hill, the daughter of Frank and Tillie (Fritsch)Wick, Sr. She married Basil Ermis on Oct 6, 1963 in High Hill.

A homemaker, she was a member of Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Plum, treasurer of the Altar Society and member of Catholic Life Insurance High Hill.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ignac & Annie Ermis; sister-in-law, Ann Bettis; and brother-in-law, Frank Machala.

Survivors include her husband, Basil Ermis of Plum; parents; 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Clifford James & Virginia Ermis of Muldoon and Norman Wayne Ermis of Houston; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo & Barbara Wick of La Grange and Frank & Geraldine Wick of High Hill; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn & James Prihoda of High Hill; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sister Pauline Marie Ermis of Victoria, Evelyn & Charles Przyborski of Houston, Hugh Bettis of Humble, Phil Ermis of Sealy, Sylvester & Georgia Ermis of Houston, Lillian Machala of Plum, Agnes & Elmer Weikel of Houston and Loretta & Roy Brugger of La Grange.

Funeral handled by Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home.
