Fayette County Record Dec. 2, 1997 Abstract of Obituary. Funeral services were held Nov. 29 in St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Henry Reese officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Evanicky was born May 28, 1921 in Kirtley, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Julia (Korenek) Rehak. Survivors include one son, David (Bud) Evanicky of Smithville; four daughters, Margery Castellan and Aleene Howser of San Marcos, Lillian Boehm of Stafford and Barbara (Cookie) Evanicky of Smithville; two sisters, Louise Rehak of Smithville and Olga Kaase of Alvin; three grandsons, two granddaughters and three great-granddaughters.
