Mary Gaertner, 95 of Moulton, mother of Alice Zezula of LaGrange died July 7 in Moulton. Funeral services will be held July 10 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moulton, with the Rev. Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Gaerner was born Sept. 10, 1902 in Moulton, the daughter of William and Philomena (Braum) Schoenweitz. She was united in marriage with William Gaertner who preceded her in death Feb. 13, 1989. Mrs. Gaertner was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are three daughters, Alice Zezula and her husband Jerome of LaGrange, Louise Moore and Lillie Kruse, both of Houston; two sons and daughters-in-law, William G. and Helen Gaertner and Edwin J. and Catherine Gaertner, all of Moulton; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Edna Gracey in 1977, two sisters, two brothers and one grandson. Smith Funeral Home of Moulton was in charge of arrangements.
