Sealy News Janis (Jan) Gaidosik, 69, of Sealy, died Feb. 6, 2001 in Houston. Fuenral services were Feb. 8 at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy with Rev. Bernard Snock officiating. Burial was at Pattison Cemetery in Pattison. Pallbearers were Bill Gaydosik, Larry Gaydosik, Franklin Beathe, Kevin Glenz, David Glenz and Malcolm Mynar. She was born in Houston to John and Jessie Williams Butler. She was raised in Houston and was a graduate of Jeff Davis High School in Houston. On June 15, 1955, she married Delphine Gaidosik in Houston. She operated Jan's Income Tax Service in Sealy until her retirement. All of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews held a very special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jessie Butler; husband, Delphine Gaidosik; and three brothers, Gerald Butler, Stanlie Butler and J.B. Butler. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and Robert Brown of Houston, Linda and William Greb III of Beach City; loving sister and closest friend Mildred Beane of Niceville, Fla.; three sisters-in-law, Blare Butler of Houston, Mary Gaidosik of Hempstead and Melba Gaydosik of Pattison; eight grandchildren, Kendall and Kelsie Garrett, Crystal and William Greb IV, Wendy and Amanda Brown, Kim and Justin Wood and one great-grandchild.
