Abstract of Obituary.

Funeral services for Eugene Joseph Gajewski, 62, of Sealy were held April 3 at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy with the Rev Bernard Snock officiating. Burial followed at Sealy Cemetery.

He died March 31 in Sealy. He was born on May 5, 1937 in Sealy, Tx., the son of Frank and Louise (Orsak) Gajewski. He married Mary Lou Luedecke on Feb 27, 1960 in Sealy.

He was raised in the Sealy area and attended Sealy High School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He worked as a route salesman for Lilly Dairy Products Co. until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Sealy and enjoyed gardening, and coached Little League for 10 years.

He was preceded in deathy by his parents; 4 brothers-in-law, Louis and Frank Stastny, Raymond Luedecke and Leslie Pavelka; and a nephew, Mark Luedecke.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Gale Gajewski of Sealy; 2 sons, Buddy and wife Duwana Gajewski of Sealy, Jeff and wife Sylvia Gajewski of Alvin; 2 sisters, Clara and Frances Stastny, both of Sealy; brothers and sisters-on-law, Harry and wife Cecilia Luedecke of Sealy, Wilfred and Shirley Luedecke of Eagle Lake, Gladys Pavelka of Alvin, Vernell Luedecke of Sealy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joe and Lorease Gajewski, Steve and Nancy Gajewski and Victor and Betty Gajewski, all of Sealy, and Clem and Barbara Gajewski of Rosenberg; a granddaughter Dana Sklar; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral handled by Knesek Family Funeral Chapels of Sealy.
