Emil Gansky,78, Dayton, died Thursday in Houston.

Born in Schulenberg and longtime resident of Pasadena, moved to Dayton in 1999. Retired from Champion Paper where he worked as a supervisor for 40 years. A member of the Knights of Columbus #3700 in Pasadena and St. Anne's Catholic Church, Eastgate.

Service 10:00 a.m., Monday, St. Anne's Catholic Church, Eastgate.

Wake Service: 7:00 p.m., Sunday, Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.

Survived by his wife: Louise Jarma Gansky of Dayton; Sons: Michael Gansky, Dallas; Alton Gansky and Amy, Colorado Springs, Co.; Louis Gansky and Jewell, Pearland; Daughter: Marilyn Hunt and David, Baytown; Brothers: Joe Gansky, Paul Gansky, Gene Gansky, Sisters: Emily Winkler, Erna Henderson, Rose Marie Michna, Karen Kainer, Louise Berger, and six grandsons.

Visitation 5:00 to 9:30 p.m., Sunday at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton, Texas.
