Funeral services for Mollie (Lostak) Garner, 53, of Salado were held Oct 9 at the Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel of Belton with Rev Skip Blancett and Dr Curtis Beaird officiating. Burial followed in the Salado Cemetery. She died oct 7 at her residence. She was born June 25, 1947 in Goose Creek, Tx, the son of Tommie H and Gladys L (Kosina) Lostak. She was married to Wayne Garner on March 16, 1968 in Angleton. She worked as a secretaryfor Dr Curtis Beaird,VP of University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, member of the Salado Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 4008 in Belton and SPJST Lodge 139 in Danbury. She was preceded in death by her mother. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Garner of Salado; daughters, Charity Barker, Tera Jackson, A[ril Danbury and Mollie K Garner, all of Salado; father, Tommie Lostak of Danbury; brothers, Lonnie Lostak of Danbury and Harold Lostak of Sugarland; sister, Lorenda Lostak Baldwin of Danbury; grandchildren, Whitney and Jorden Danbury of Salado. Pallbearers were Monte Baldwin, Troy Baldwin, Tommie McLane Lostak, Jeremy Dickerson, Brian Remkes and Dean Honchul. Funeral handled by Heartfield Funeral Home.
