Victoria Advocate July 29, 2002 Ganado - Milady "Ida" Gebert, 98, of Ganado, died Sunday, July 28, 2002. She was born Dec. 29, 1903, in Fayette County, to the late Frank and Augustina Michan Zacek. She was a retired cook for Mauritz Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Methodist Women Circle and First United Methodist Church of Ganado. Survivors: daughters, Mildred Gebert and Georgia Gebert Sless, both of Ganado; son, Franklin Gebert of Paige; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, George Gebert; daughter, Irene Gebert; parents; sisters, Ella Pauler and Betty Machac; and brother, Ed Zacek. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church of Ganado, the Rev. Glenna Kelly officiating. Burial will be at Freyberg Cemetery near Schulenberg.
