Paul William Gleason Jr.,62, passed away Friday, September 13, 2002. He leaves behind his wife, Joyce Cauthen Gleason; four children, Paul, III, Kimberly Hartsfield, Katherine Gleason and Jeffrey Gleason and eleven grandchildren, Tara, Jenny, Chad, Raymond, Hailee, Casey, Christopher, Daniel, Christian, Sarah and Paul Gleason, IV who all reside in the Houston area. He also leaves behind his brother, James Jay Gleason of Bellville, sister, Patricia Berckenhoff of Moultan, as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Paul and Joyce were married for 45 years. He was kind to all who knew him and of great personal strength, a husband and father whose love and loyalty to his family will always be remembered. He worked for Harris County Flood Control for over 20 years and later worked for a local engineering firm for the past 10 years. All of his children were at his bedside. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Heart Association, Houston Division, P.O. Box 20448, Houston, Tx 77225-0448 or the American Cancer Society, Greater Houston Area, P.O. Box 570127, Houston, Tx 77257. A private family service is being planned.
