Alton Gloor, 65, died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 1985 at his home in Brownsville. Funeral services were held at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home Chapel in Brownsville Saturday, June 22 at 4:00 p.m.

He was born in 1919 in Gonzales County, son of Herman F. and Emma Marie (Ehlers) Gloor and was reared on the family farm. He resided here before moving to Brownsville some 25 years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. June Gloor; three sons and a daughter, John, Les, Lynn and Ruth; two grandchildren, all of Brownsville; two sisters, Mrs. James (Elsie) Burnett, Mrs. Robert (Velma) Grauke, both of Gonzales, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mar. 26, 1946; his mother, Nov. 18, 1970; and two brothers, Edgar A. Gloor, Jan. 4, 1979; and Louis Gloor.
