Hallettsville -- Lillie T. Grahmann, 86, of Hallettsville, died Tuesday, April 9, 2002. She was born March 4, 1916, in Lavaca County, to the late John and Theresia Sciba Chovanetz. She was co-owner of Joe's Grocery and worked at Ben Franklin Store as a clerk before retiring. She was a member of Christian Mothers, K.J.Z.T. and Sacred Heart Church. Survivors: daughters, Madeline Migura of Hallettsville and Bridget Marvin of South Pasadena, Calif.; sons, Daniel J. Grahmann of San Antonio and William H. Grahmann of Hallettsville; sister, Evelyn Pavliska of Hallettsville; brother, Edwin Chovanetz of Hallettsville; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Joseph Joe Grahmann; parents; sisters, Agnes Chovanetz and Annie Chovanetz; and brothers, Alfred August Chovanetz and Fred Joseph Chovanetz. Visitation will be 1 p.m. today at Kubena Funeral Home chapel. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home chapel and 9:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Bob Knippenberg officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Kubena Funeral Home, Hallettsville, 361-798-3271.
