Frank J. Grahmann, 81, of Hallettsville died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1993, at 3 p.m. He was born Aug. 22, 1911 in Lavaca County, son of Frank and Antonette Pechacek Grahmann. He was a retired farmer and rancher and member of the Sacred Heart Church in Hallettsville. Surviving him are his wife, Lillie Grahmann of Hallettsville; a daughter, Evelyn Mozisek of Little Rock, Ark.; a son, Charles A. Grahmann of Schulenburg; five sisters, Mary K. Grahmann of Hallettsville, Clara Heinsohn of Yoakum, Bernadine Kolacny of Houston, Louis Frederich of Runge, Wilhelmina Zafereo of Victoria; a brother, Alvin Grahmann of Schulenburg; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Antonette Pechacek Grahmann; two sisters and one brother. Visitation began at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 28 at Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 28 at Kubena Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. The body will lie in state at Kubena Funeral Home until 9 a.m., Friday, at which time it will be taken to Sacred Heart Church, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Rev. Celestino Say will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the direction of Kubena Funeral Home, Hallettsville.
