Mrs. Frank (Antonette) Grahmann, Route 3 Halletsville, died in the Renger Memorial Hospital, Thursday, June 24 at 3:20 p.m. at the age of 83 years, one month and 14 days. She had been in ill health for the past several years and had been admitted to the hospital a few days prior to her passing. Born in Frelsburg, Colorado County, May 10, 1882, she was united in marriage to Frank Grahmann, October 22, 1901. Mr. Grahmann passed away August 5, 1946. To this union were born 10 children, all of which survive. Namely three sons, Frank, Joe and Alvin, all of Halletsville, seven daughters, Mrs. Herman (Clara) Heinsohn, Miss Elizabeth Grahmann, Miss Mary Grahmann all of Halletsville, Miss Agnes Grahmann and Mrs. George (Wilhelmina) Zafereo of Victoria, Mrs. Frank (Bernadine) Kolacny of Houston., Mrs. Ervin (Louise) Friedrich of Runge, two brothers, Otto Pechacek and Joe Pechacek, both of Houston and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Frazer of Baytown and Mrs. Annie Hermes of New Braunfels, 27 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held from Kubena Funeral Home Saturday morning, June 26 beginning at 9:15 and continuing at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of which she was a member at 9:30 with Msgr. Alois Morkovsky officiating. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, grandsons Donald Friedrich, Leroy Kolacny, Joe Zafereo, Clarence Schriefer, Alton Grahmann and Charles Grahmann serving as pallbearers.
