Ganado - Magdelena "Lennie" Gregurek, 79, of Ganado, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002.

She was born Jan. 1, 1923, in Weimar, to the late Joe and Sophia Salanski Bayer. She was a retired assistant manager for Mikes Food Craft. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and member and past-president of KJZT. She was a member of the Altar Society, the American Legion Auxiliary and CDA.

Survivors: husband, Mike Gregurek of Ganado, whom she married March 31, 1941 at Fort Sam Houston Chapel; daughter, Carolyn Lunsford of Spring Branch, Texas ; sister, Henry Bayer of Galveston; grandchildren, Heather Lunsford and Nichole Gregurek O'Neal; and great-grandchild, Madison O'Neal.

Preceded in death by: sons, Timothy Kyle Gregurek and Glen Michael Gregurek; and parents.

A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2002 followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Hybner officiating.

Burial will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery of Ganado. Ganado Funeral Home, Ganado, 361-771-2120.
