Miss Frances Grieve of Shiner, was buried in Flatonia Catholic Cemetery, Wednesday, December 4 after religious rites were conducted at Buffington Funeral Home at 9:15 a.m. and at the Shiner Catholic Church at 9:30, Rev J. J. Hanacek officiating. Born at Praha in Fayette County, she was age 67 years, 10 months and 2 days. Miss Grieve, who never married, lived at Praha and Flatonia until 1943 when she started caring for Mrs. Therzie Marek. On Mrs. Marek's death in 1959, she moved to Moulton where she cared for Mrs. Minnie Hoyer until her death, November 11, 1963. The only survivors are a number of nephews and nieces.
