Hallettsville -- James Edward "Brother" Hagan, 65, of Hallettsville, died Friday, April 26, 2002.

He was born Dec. 8, 1936, in Yoakum, to the late C. O. "Buster" and Willie Mae Kahanek Hagan. He was Co-owner of the Hallettsville Livestock Commission Company and member of Sacred Heart Church in Hallettsville.

Survivors: wife, Delores Tuttle Hagan; daughters, Vickie Hagan and Kathi Moreno, both of Victoria, Kelli Sastanie of Texas City and Raquel Hagan-Brown of Yoakum; sons, James Hagan of Austin and Jason Hagan of Hallettsville; brother, Kenneth Hagan of Batesville; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. today at Kubena Funeral Home chapel.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home chapels.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church in Hallettsville, the Rev. John Peters officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
